This is my new design of the famous Ashanti  anti-hero ANANSI. My version of Anansi was originally designed for my Children's Book, but I  later wanted to expand the world he inhabited. To do this i changed his look and target audience to allow more freedom in creating this new world. The new version was suppossed to be more influenced by Ashanti aesthetics and culture, this required a lot more research and developement to achieve his final appearance.
